Both Dr. Stefan Ionescu and his competent, warm, and friendly staff are well trained in communicating with families. Dr. Stefan Ionescu
Dr. Stefan Ionescu enjoys creating a fun and comfortable experience for children at each and every dental visit. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He taught high school in Europe prior to returning to Texas and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He then went on to complete an additional two years of specialized pediatric training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Ionescu is a board certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. In his spare time Dr. Ionescu and his wife, Dr. Brittany Jones Ionescu, enjoy hiking with their dogs, kayaking and traveling.
Dr. Brittany Jones
Dr. Jones Ionescu loves working with children and educating them and their families about their oral health. She obtained her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree for Louisiana State University. Following Dental School, she worked in the New Orleans area before moving to San Antonio to complete her pediatric training at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Jones is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. In her free time Dr. Jones Ionescu enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband Dr. Stefan Ionescu, traveling, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Registered Dental Hygienist/Practice Director
JoAnn has an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. She has been calling Little Smiles Dentistry her second family since 2003 and feels blessed to do so. Most of her dental experience has been in pediatric dentistry, where she focuses on providing the best care possible while having fun and making children feel comfortable. JoAnn also oversees the daily activities of the entire office.
In her spare time, she stays busy with her husband, their two children, and two dogs and two cats.

Faviola, (Favi) is originally from El Paso and has been a dental assistant since 2004. She is married with two children, Jacob and Isabella. Favi is fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending her free time with her family and shopping for antiques.

Jessica move to Texas form Washington state in 2022 with her husband and youngest son. She joined the team in 2023 with a background in dental insurance and billing. She initially started out as a front desk specialist but moved into the Insurance Coordinator position quickly! Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends lounging by their pool and watching football! (GO SEAHAWKS!)
Jocelyn Gonzalez

Jocelyn previously worked at Little Smiles, but took time off when her daughter was born! She grew up in Boerne, but moved to Mexico during high school, and then moved back to Boerne in 2018. Jocelyn is fluent in Spanish! She loves spending time with her daughter, other family members and her dog. She also enjoys traveling, reading and listening to podcasts.
Monse (Veronica) Garcia
Front Desk Specialist
Monse is long time resident of Boerne. She played soccer for Boerne Highschool and graduated from there in 2018. She currently lives in Bandera with her husband and daughter. Monse enjoys cookouts with her family while watching soccer, spending time with her daughter, cooking and being outdoors!
